When you arrive, please present your membership keytag to reception with each visit. This is the first point of contact we have with you and we want to get to know you.
When you join you will receive a Membership keytag, which will be issued from reception. Please allow 3-7 days after joining for it to be prepared. In the interim, just bring along your membership receipt for access to the Club.
Sometimes tags become lost or stolen. If this happens to you, please ask reception for a new tag. As these tags are expensive, a replacement fee of $5 will apply.
Lockers are provided in the change rooms for your use. All you need to do is bring your own padlock or combination lock on a daily basis as required. Any locks left on lockers overnight will be removed and destroyed by management.
Only people aged 12 and over are allowed to use Geelong’s Gym facilities, other than crèche and school holiday programs. Membership is available to 12-17 years old with written consent from a parent or guardian. Please note that the minimum age for boxing classes, other than school groups, is 16 years of age.
For your convenience and safety, class numbers are restricted to certain levels. On occasion large numbers may limit participation in some classes. Management reserves the right to alter class type, class instructor or class frequency at any time.

Kindly note that non compliance to the above standards may result in disqualification of your child from the crèche.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the club at any time.
The joining fee is a non-refundable payment at the commencement of your membership. This is a once only payment that you will not need to pay again unless your membership is allowed to expire.
In order to receive this reduced rate, subscriptions must be paid before or by the actual membership expiry date. Members who allow their membership to lapse will not be eligible for the renewal rate. Current rates apply at the time of renewal. Your new Membership term will be calculated from the previous Membership expiry date, not the payment date.
In certain circumstances, you may be allowed to pay off your membership in smaller amounts. Complete payment is required within 30-40 days.
SUSPENSION TIME
SUSPENSIONS WILL NOT BE BACKDATED AND MUST BE DONE IN PERSON AT RECEPTION.
Term Memberships
Term Memberships are transferable. It is the responsibility of the member to negotiate the sale of their membership and there is a transfer fee of $40 for members and $75 for non-members.
Cancellation of your membership must be done in person with two weeks notice. If you have not yet reached the minimum term on your membership a cancellation fee will apply.
Clothing or towels that are left behind are placed in the lost property baskets at reception. After a period of one month, unclaimed articles are given to a worthy charity. Smaller items, such as jewelry and ipods, are kept at reception.
Whilst on the club premises, we ask that you be neatly attired in clean exercise gear, such as t-shirts, shorts, tracksuits, leotards, tights etc. Appropriate footwear is compulsory in all non-wet areas. Thongs and work boots are not considered to be appropriate footwear.

Management reserves the right to restrict access to any part of the club whether for repair, upkeep and maintenance or restricted use. This includes restriction on specific areas of the club due to new classes, facilities or programs. Management will always retain total control over the standards, policies and operations of the club. This will also include the power to set the hours of operation, membership fees and all prices and charges, to establish types of membership; to make and enforce all rules and regulations governing the affairs and conduct of the club, and its members in connection with the club, to determine matters of discipline, decorum and harmony, including the right to censure, suspend or expel a member at the discretion of management.
The club premises close at specific times. We ask that all members and guests stop using the equipment 15 minutes prior to closing time if showering and 5 minutes prior to closing time if not showering, to allow time for stretching.
You may bring a guest with you who has not used the Club before for free once. For any subsequent visits normal casual rates will apply. Guests must be over 18 years of age. 12-17 year old guests may attend the gym if accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times when using the facility.
All questions concerning the interpretation of the rules and regulations, documented in these Terms and Conditions, should be directed to management. These rules and regulations may be changed or amended by the Management at its sole discretion at any time. The decision of the management will be final.
“Our team has been using Geelong’s Gym in pre-season training, especially as our training facilities were under renovations, and we have been continuing to utilize the Geelong's Gym facility with the junior players. We have found it to be in the perfect position for us, with a very welcoming environment where our players are able to train without being disturbed. It has proven to be a good alternative to our training facilities, somewhere fresh where we don’t feel like we’re at work. Geelong’s Gym is perfect for us because it has all the facilities we need, with an excellent amount of space, where we’re treated as regular members of the public.”
